Zan and Dan Raynor have been with Stevens Puppets since 1993. They both came to Stevens Puppets with extensive theatre backgrounds both onstage and off. Their love of theatre began when they were in high school. Zan in Elkhart, IN and Dan in San Jose, CA. They both have acted and directed professionally all over the Country. Unbeknownst to them, they were developing creative and unique skills that would eventually come full circle and help them while creating and performing marionette theatre. Zan does all the new carving for Stevens Puppets, and restores the "Original Stevens marionettes", and Dan does the performing. Some of the marionettes date back to 1950.

They have four wonderful children, Paisley (age 13), Mackinac (age 11), and Magnolia (age 8) and their newest addition Cavendish (Infant). These children are truly a very special gift from God. Their angelic voices can be heard in Stevens Puppets production of . . ."The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow". Paisley is the voice of Fritz Van Tassel and Mackinac and Magnolia are the school kids in the beginning of the story.

After finishing her Masters degree from the University of Notre Dame , Dan and Zan moved to Fairfax, VA where Zan is pursuing a Doctorate in Canon Law from the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. They now reside on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Dan is currently selling and touring the Mid-Atlantic region with The Wizard of Oz and Aladdin.
